Cardington New Year's, Vol. II

Back up in Cardington for New Year's festivities. Tonight it's off to Dan's house to sit around watching movies and playing wrestling games until 2006 hits. I'm in line to get my New Year's kiss from Sean two years in a row. How homoerotic is that?

I'm starting to desperately miss the joy that is '80s pop. I don't have a single album by Toto, Foreigner, Cutting Crew, or REO Speedwagon on my computer right now... I don't even have Thriller. How can I call myself a child of the '80s?

If anybody has any albums by those bands, send them to me immediately or I might keel over and die.

Music Catch-Up

I hereby dedicate tonight to watching episodes of Keen Eddie and listening to the countless CDs I promised people I'd give a spin but never did, mainly due to distractions such as "Here Come The Warm Jets" and Confessions On A Dance Floor.

MP3 albums that have been festering in my AIM downloads folder and will be making their way to my speakers tonight include but are not necessarily limited to:

Before And After Science - Brian Eno
Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) - Brian Eno
Another Day On Earth - Brian Eno
Another Green World - Brian Eno
Muzik for Insomniaks - Mark Mothersbaugh
What We Must - Jaga Jazzist
The Milk-Eyed Mender - Joanna Newsom

Kickin' it up to a night with the hits.

Christmas Break, And Myspace!

Writing reviews for every movie I see is too much effort for me, I've decided. So, it's back to blogging for me!

In the interim of my absence, I've really done absolutely nothing. Well, I got a 4.0 GPA this semester. What up, Dean's List. Also, I'm getting into some awesome music, notably Brian Eno and Regina Spektor. Hanging out with the UFO kids is definitely a lot of fun as well. So I'm keeping myself busy.

I'm over at John Hall's house right now in Cardington for a few days. Fun times, hadn't seen the kid in almost a year.

Instead of getting my degree in education, I'm thinking about aiming for a master's degree in geography and teaching at the college level. Opinions?

Oh, and I made a MySpace, because Emily begged me to do so. Check it out:
